How to install Java Oracle on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
This time I will give you a tutorial on how to install Java Oracle on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Oracle has released Java version 8 is stable and ready for install to Ubuntu 16.04. Java 8 already includes JDK / JRE which is necessary especially if you want to wear Android Studio on Ubuntu 16.04.
You no longer need to install Java 8 manual for Webupd8team formally presents and take care of PPA for Java. and you can install through their repositories.
Open a terminal:
PPA file of this repository will help you to install java 8 at 16.04 Ubuntu LTS and LinuxMint, for Kali Linux, Parrot, etc. You must first add the repository weupd8team manually.
